Lake Bluff Tennis & Futsal Courts Grand Opening Scheduled for Oct. 8
The Lake Bluff Tennis and Futsal Courts Grand Opening event will be held on Sunday, October 8, 2017 from 10:30-11:30 am at Lake Bluff Elementary School in Shorewood. Community members, staff, parents, families, students, and donors are welcome to attend. Light refreshments will be provided by the Lake Bluff PTO.
Guests will also have the opportunity to welcome back Kirk and Sonja Juffer, who will return to Shorewood for the event to celebrate the grant opening of the courts. A campaign launched in 2015 to celebrate their retirement helped raise funds for the courts, along with generous contributions from the SEED Foundation, the Shorewood Foundation, the Lake Bluff PTO, the Village of Shorewood, and the Shorewood School District.
The event will be held rain or shine, and attendees are welcome to drop by the Shorewood Farmers Market before or after the grand opening, which will also be held at Lake Bluff Elementary School that morning. No RSVP is needed -- all are welcome. We hope to see you!
