Welcome To Shorewood High School!  Our graduates are confident, well-rounded, independent young adults who have learned to appreciate the diversity of our society and to be free-thinkers. To prepare our students for adulthood, we provide: a challenging, standards based curriculum in the core academic areas of language arts, math, science and social studies. The school offers nine advanced placement classes.  Our Student Support Services Department that provides transition services including career exploration and post secondary planning for students and families, as well as, guidance on academic and personal matters. Additionally, Students have opportunities to participate in award winning performing and visual arts program that includes drama, orchestra, band, choir and studio art; additionally, they can expand on their personal interests by joining any of our more than 40 co-curricular activities.

A memorial event for alumnus Michael Spector ('58) will be held at Shorewood High School on November 30, 2014 at 2:00 pm in the Auditorium. Mr. Spector, who passed away at home on October 31 at the age of 74, was a longtime Shorewood resident and a dedicated and beloved member of the community. Click the above title for more information.
