Welcome To Shorewood High School! Our graduates are confident, well-rounded, independent young adults who have learned to appreciate the diversity of our society and to be free-thinkers. To prepare our students for adulthood, we provide: a challenging, standards based curriculum in the core academic areas of language arts, math, science and social studies. The school offers nine advanced placement classes. Our Student Support Services Department that provides transition services including career exploration and post secondary planning for students and families, as well as, guidance on academic and personal matters. Additionally, Students have opportunities to participate in award winning performing and visual arts program that includes drama, orchestra, band, choir and studio art; additionally, they can expand on their personal interests by joining any of our more than 40 co-curricular activities.

The District's "Tradition of Excellence Award" program celebrates the outstanding individual achievements of a select few alumni, which symbolically honors the collective contributions of the many Shorewood graduates who make an impact on their community. UW-Milwaukee is pleased to announce the next opportunity for Shorewood Intermediate School and Shorewood High School girls to register for their "Girls Who Code" club. Girls Who Code is a national nonprofit organization leading the movement to inspire, educate, and equip girls with the computing skills to pursue 21st century opportunities.
