Welcome To Shorewood High School! Our graduates are confident, well-rounded, independent young adults who have learned to appreciate the diversity of our society and to be free-thinkers. To prepare our students for adulthood, we provide: a challenging, standards based curriculum in the core academic areas of language arts, math, science and social studies. The school offers nine advanced placement classes. Our Student Support Services Department that provides transition services including career exploration and post secondary planning for students and families, as well as, guidance on academic and personal matters. Additionally, Students have opportunities to participate in award winning performing and visual arts program that includes drama, orchestra, band, choir and studio art; additionally, they can expand on their personal interests by joining any of our more than 40 co-curricular activities.

The Shorewood School District has successfully completed the "Meet the Match" campaign, raising a total of $1 million to support new project-based learning programs for K-12 students. The announcement was made on Tuesday, November 24, at the Shorewood School Board meeting. For more info, click the above title.

On Sun., Dec. 6, Shorewood Booster Club will host the 36th Annual Arts & Crafts fair in the SHS Arena from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. The event will be packed with regional artists and crafters, and proceeds will benefit the Shorewood Athletic Programs. For more info, click the above title.
SHS was recently chosen to receive $20,000 in Global Navigator Scholarships for students to study abroad in Summer 2016.This is a rare opportunity for our SHS students to grow and gain experience for college and beyond. To learn more about these scholarships, click the above title.
