Welcome To Shorewood High School! Our graduates are confident, well-rounded, independent young adults who have learned to appreciate the diversity of our society and to be free-thinkers. To prepare our students for adulthood, we provide: a challenging, standards based curriculum in the core academic areas of language arts, math, science and social studies. The school offers nine advanced placement classes. Our Student Support Services Department that provides transition services including career exploration and post secondary planning for students and families, as well as, guidance on academic and personal matters. Additionally, Students have opportunities to participate in award winning performing and visual arts program that includes drama, orchestra, band, choir and studio art; additionally, they can expand on their personal interests by joining any of our more than 40 co-curricular activities.

* Students MUST stay in class for the full 90-min exam period
** In the event of a “school closure” due to inclement weather the exam schedule will roll forward and be completed in the order above (i.e. if school is closed Wednesday, exams are pushed back to Thursday, Friday and Tuesday because there is no school on Monday, January 22nd)
SHS Drama's Into the Woods Production Nominated for 19 Tommy Awards

The nominations are in and the Shorewood High School Drama Department's production of Into the Woods has been nominated for 19 Tommy Awards. Named for local Broadway star Tom Wopat, the Tommy Awards encourage, recognize and honor excellence in Wisconsin high school musical theater. Educators and industry professionals review productions at more than 70 high schools in 23 counties and provide valuable feedback. Award winners will be announced in May.
