The District has announced that work will begin on the installation of new tennis courts at Lake Bluff Elementary School on June 16, 2017. The project received a green light on May 25, when the Shorewood School Board approved up to $20,000 in additional funding to meet the total costs needed to complete the project.

The Pedestrian and Bicycle Safety Committee (PBSC) worked with Village staff in painting approximately 20 "Walk Your Bike" signs around the Village. On May 16, the Shorewood School District hosted the first annual Authentic Learning Showcase in the Shorewood High School Arena. Over 500 attendees packed the venue to see authentic learning projects from all grade levels, K-12. Click the above title to learn more.
