The Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction recently released the Wisconsin Forward Exam, Wisconsin Statewide ACT, and Dynamic Learning Maps results for public viewing.

As the Forward test results (Grades 3-8) indicate below, the Shorewood School District continues to be ahead of state average in all areas.

Looking at the Statewide ACT results (Grade 11 on 2/28/17), the Class of 2018 made a 1.0 point improvement in their predicted ACT averages from freshman to sophomore year (20.5 to 21.5) and further made a 0.7 point leap from sophomore to junior year.

Junior Statewide ACT Average = 22.2
Based on these results, one remaining area of growth for the Shorewood School District continues to be closing racial achievement gaps across all grades. To address this area of growth, the District continues to provide professional development for teachers and staff around understanding race and utilizing different strategies to close achievement gaps.
