The SHS Parent Association kicks of the year with a must attend event for all juniors, seniors and their parents and/or guardians- Guiding Your Student Through the College Application Process: What You Should Know.  Join the SHS Parent Association and SHS Student Support Services for a lively discussion about the process of applying to and selecting a college.

Join us Thursday September 13 from 6:30-8 p.m.in the SHS Studio Theater for this important discussion. Experienced college counselor and parent of a 2011 SHS graduate, Jane Frederick, Ph.D., will share her professional expertise about what makes a collage search successful.  Among the topics that will be discussed:

• What should you be doing right know as a Senior? Junior?
• What resources are available to you  at school or online?
• What is the role of the parent? The students? The school?
