Code of Conduct
The Shorewood School District believes in progressive discipline. We address each act of misconduct individually, engaging in discussion those students and staff who may have been involved in or affected by the issue in order to determine the following: what actually happened, who has been affected and to what extent, and how each participant will work to rectify the problem and correct future behavior. Consequences, if necessary, will be fair, progressive and natural to the situation, and may be determined by the group (restorative practices i.e. repairing harm circles).
