District Policies

One of the most important functions of the School Board is to set policy for the district. The policies set by the School Board act as guidelines for parents/guardians, students, employees and community to follow while working toward the district's goals. But what do all these policies mean and how can they be used to create a better learning environment in the district? With so many policies, it can sometimes be hard to really understand what policies have been put in place by the Board. This section is designed to help you better understand the district's policies and their purpose. On a regular basis, the district will highlight a Board policy and explain how it is used to create a positive and productive learning environment.
