Director of Business Services and Human Resources Candidate Presentations

The Shorewood School District is currently conducting a search for the next Director of Business Services and Human Resources after the resignation of current Director Patrick Miller on June 14, 2019. The candidate pool for this position is small and there are many other local openings for this position, so moving quickly yet effectively is highly important.
 
All three finalists will be coming to Shorewood this Thursday, May 16, and the District is enlisting the help of the community. Parents, guardians and community members are invited to participate in candidate presentations by listening and giving feedback on the candidates. The presentations, on May 16, will be at Shorewood High School in the second-floor library. The times of the presentations will be 6:15-8:30pm. Candidate resumes are linked below to each candidate’s name.

Marta Kwiatkowski - 6:15-7:00pm

Dan McCrea - 7:00-7:45pm

Robert Thom - 7:45-8:00pm
 
Each candidate will do a presentation that will follow the outline below:
 
2 - 3 Min. - Introduction of Self - Who are you? What draws you to your profession? Why are you interested in the Shorewood School District Director of Business Services and Human Resources position?
 
3 - 4 Min. - Describe your processes in developing and administering school district budgets.
 
3 - 4 Min. - We just passed a $65 million capital referendum project that will affect all four of our school campuses and a $275,000 increase to the revenue limit to improve our district maintenance. Describe your experiences in developing and administering school facilities referendum projects.
 
2 - 3 Min. - Outline your 90-day entry plan as the Director of Business Services and Human Resources position What will you do in the first 90 days?
 
15 - 20 Min. - Question and answer session from the attendees
