Dear Shorewood Families,
Last night, we held our eighth and final School Reopening Work Group meeting. The group spent most of the evening carefully reviewing and providing feedback on the draft of the School Reopening Plan, which will be presented to the School Board next Tuesday, July 28, during a Special Board Meeting at 7 p.m. The School Reopening Plan draft can be found here.
Those interested in hearing more about the plan and providing feedback are encouraged to attend the virtual School Board meeting next Tuesday, where there will be two opportunities provided for public comment before and after the presentation of the plan.
Please note that the plan provides a general overview and over the next couple of weeks the administrative team will be working with staff on preparing more operationalized details to share at the scheduled August 11 School Board meeting.

In closing, I would like to thank all the members of our School Reopening Work Group team who dedicated much of their time and efforts over the past two months to help the District develop these recommendations. We could not have done this important work without their insight and feedback.
