CIEE Global Navigator Scholarship Awards Summer 2021 Study Abroad

To Shorewood High School Freshmen, Sophomores & Juniors,

SHS has been selected to participate for the fifth year in a row in the Council on International Educational Exchange (CIEE) Global Navigator Scholarship awards for summer study abroad 2021! These earmark $25,000+ for students at SHS to study abroad during the summer, and students who elect to apply will be considered for the awards based on both merit and need. In the summer of 2019, 19 students travelled on a CIEE trip having received over $38,000 in total scholarship money!

From CIEE: The first question you may ask: in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, will students be able to travel? CIEE is constantly working to monitor the health of the world, to mitigate risk and to keep students safe. To that end, CIEE is successfully managing small programs in several locations around the world this fall and we are optimistically looking to next summer for a return to travel that is more open around the world. The CIEE Program Assurance Advantage provides students the assurance that if CIEE cancels a program, CIEE will refund program fees and even support up to $500 in un-reimbursed travel change fees, such as airline tickets.

Which countries? Argentina, Australia, Botswana, Chile, China, Costa Rica, Czech Republic, Denmark, Dominican Republic, England, France, Germany, Ghana, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Morocco, the Netherlands, Portugal, Russia, South Africa, South Korea, Spain, U.S.
