Introducing the Shorewood SEED Foundation’s New Blog - SEED Stories

2020 has hit us all like a ton of bricks, to say the least! As individuals, we have opinions and ideas, but as an organization it is SEED’s job to rise above the fray and find things we can all agree on to move forward and ensure the success of the Shorewood School District. We decided to delve deep into what really happens with the grant funds you give as SEED donors. We’re interviewing teachers, families, administrators, and SEED volunteers to find the real stories, and the real good in Shorewood schools.

We’re calling it simply, “SEED Stories”, and it’s a blog that will feature stories about people you recognize, people you’d like to know better, and people who will inspire you to love your community. You can read more about the idea for the blog at SEED's of Hope, and our first story about teacher Thomas Dittl, The Man in the Yellow Hat. Make sure to bookmark shorewoodseed.org/stories, as we’ll be posting new stories often. Also follow us on Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter for updates on new posts, inspiring quotes, and photos of your friends and neighbors working hard to make Shorewood a better place. We’re excited to embark on this new journey into the heart of Shorewood schools, and hope you’ll join us in celebrating the glimmers of hope to come out of this challenging year, and beyond!
