Dear Shorewood Families,
This afternoon the CDC announced a relaxation of their masking and social distancing recommendations. According to this guidance, fully vaccinated people can resume activities without wearing a mask or physically distancing, except where required by federal, state, local, tribal, or territorial laws, rules, and regulations, including local business and workplace guidance.
At this time, the Village of Shorewood still has a mask ordinance in place until Monday, May 17th. Masks are still required in all buildings in the Shorewood School District until further notice. We are working with the Village of Shorewood and the North Shore Health Department to determine next steps locally for masking requirements.
