Shorewood Invites Alumni to Participate in End-of-Year Giving

In the Shorewood School District, our top priority is to provide an outstanding educational experience to all of our students, helping them develop into successful graduates and productive citizens. Philanthropic support for the Shorewood School District helps us maintain our Tradition of Excellence in education and deliver on that promise.

The goals of this year’s annual giving campaign align with the District’s 2025 Vision to support whole child wellness, equity, authentic learning, and classroom innovation.

Some of the critical initiatives the District is focused on for this year include:

•    Early Literacy Instruction: 4K – 4th Grade
•    4K – 12th Grade: Integrated Social Emotional Learning Curriculum
•    Retainment of Staff of Color
•    Systemic Improvements for Equitable Student Results
•    Enhance Connectedness & Belonging for All Students and Staff

While the District has been making progress on these initiatives, the pandemic has presented additional challenges and philanthropic support is even more important and valued. Therefore, we are asking our alumni to strongly consider investing in our students’ futures.

Your generous support of the District makes a huge impact on this work. When alumni like you give back to our community, Shorewood is able to lay the groundwork for future student achievement.

If you would like to make a year-end charitable donation to support our mission, you can do so through the Shorewood SEED Foundation Annual Campaign, or to discuss your donation, please contact Ted Knight at [email protected]

Thank you in advance for your consideration and support!
