The new 2023 Niche rankings have been released and Shorewood School District continues to rank among the top 10 in the State in numerous categories, including:
- #1 for Best Places to Teach
- #2 for District with the Best Teachers
- Top 5 for Best Public High School
- Top 10 for Best District
- Top 8 for Best STEM High School
Shorewood has built a strong reputation as a destination district, receiving an overall grade of A+ by Niche, and many families looking to relocate continue to select Shorewood.
Despite renovations and facilities upgrades as a result of the 2019 referendum, the District attributes the high ranking to the District's staff and the community.
“Our community is second to none,” says Shorewood Interim Superintendent JoAnn Sternke. “We have a longstanding pride in excellence in our District, and it continues to grow stronger each year.”
Niche is a company that ranks nearly 100,000 schools and districts based on key statistics and rigorous analysis of academic and teacher data from the U.S. Department of Education along with nearly 2.5 million reviews from students, parents, and teachers.
