A total of 235 band, orchestra and choir students, 28 chaperones, and 8 District staff members participated in another successful Shorewood Intermediate School Music Department trip to St. Louis. Students learned from the music professors at Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville, performed at the Music in the Parks competition, and participated in many other fun and educational activities under the direction of Melissa Honigman, Jason Clark, and Justin Olson. Karen Frink, Ebony Grice, Andrea Warren, and Nick Castonguay also offered their help to both the music staff and to all the students.
