Give Help
Donate to The Shorewood Foundation
In working with their partners across our community, the Shorewood Foundation is committing up to $20,000 to address food insecurity as the continuing shutdown of the federal government delays SNAP benefits to millions of Americans in need. Please designate your donation to the Shorewood Community Network, or "food insecurity" to support this cause.
Give Monetary Donation to Kinship
Kinship Community Food Center brings people together from across our city who may not otherwise experience community together. While non-perishable food donations are always welcome, monetary contributions are especially appreciated as they allow us to purchase perishable items such as dairy, eggs, and other fresh foods to support families more fully.

New Horizons-Food/Supply Drive! November 4-25th
The New Horizons program is hosting a student-driven Food and Supply Drive to support our local Pay-What-You-Can Community Cafe. We invite you to join us in giving back by donating non-perishable food items and essential supplies. Your contributions will help ensure that everyone in our community has access to nutritious meals and basic necessities, no matter their circumstances.
Donation Dates: Nov 4-25
Drop-off Location: SHS Admin Lobby
Thank you for helping our students make a meaningful impact right here at home!
The SIS PTO will be running a food drive in partnership with Kinship Community Food Center. With the pause to SNAP benefits, help is needed to support families in our community. Our food drive starts on Monday, November 10 and will continue for the foreseeable future. Hygiene supplies and non-perishable items can be sent to school with your student and dropped off in the box in the SIS lobby. This flyer offers more information about Kinship and a list of needed items. If you have any questions, please contact Laura Oldenburg at SISPTO414@gmail.com
Atwater 6th graders are planning a food and hygiene drive to benefit Kinship Community Food Center in December. The PTO is offering extra support to maximize their efforts. Stay tuned for more information and volunteer opportunities coming up. If your family is in a position to provide donations of food, time, or funds in the meantime, follow this link for more information about how to help. Together, we can make sure every family in our community is supported and cared for.

Lake Bluff PTO is currently holding a food drive until November 14th. The food drive will benefit Kinship Community Food Center. Donations can be brought to the main office. Non-perishable food items and grocery gift cards are accepted.
