Do I need to check in before the race?
Yes. Participants must pick up their race packet at one of the following times and locations:
Friday August 28th, 11:00AM-6:00PM at the Shorewood Community Fitness Center or
Saturday August 29th, 6:00AM-7:00AM at VHE Upper Lobby
How will the race be timed?
Each participant will receive a timing device that records their start and finish time. This race is officially timed by Race Day Events.
How do I know how many laps to complete?
Lap distances are listed in the Race Distances table above. Participants are responsible for counting their laps.
Can parents watch the race?
Yes! Family members are encouraged to come watch and cheer participants on. Bleacher seating will be available in the VHE aquatics facility and around the running track.
Do I need to be an experienced swimmer or runner?
No. This event is designed to be fun and welcoming for all ability levels.
What happens if it rains?
Since the swim takes place indoors, the event will typically continue as scheduled unless severe weather requires changes. (Registration fees are non-refundable)
