A Culture of Belonging & Growth

culture of belonging and growth

2. A Culture of Belonging & Growth

By 2030:

  • 90% of students report a strong sense of belonging in our schools;
  • 90% of staff report being a valued member of the school community.

Why is this a priority?

Students thrive when they are supported as whole individuals and engaged as active contributors in a community in which belonging, growth, and continuous learning are modeled by staff and shaped by student voice.

Equity Commitment

Belonging is foundational to equity. Every student, staff member, and family should feel valued, seen, and heard. We also embrace a growth mindset, believing that all individuals can learn, improve, and thrive. Our staff model this mindset by continuously growing in their practice, setting the tone for a culture that encourages students to do the same.
