After nearly a year of dedicated collaboration, we are excited to launch the 2025-2030 Strategic Plan. Our Promise, Our Plan is a bold, community-driven roadmap that will guide the future of education in Shorewood. The Shorewood School Board formally approved the plan this summer, and implementation will begin in the 2025-26 school year.  

This plan reflects the voices of our community. More than 700 parents, students, staff, alumni, and Shorewood residents participated through surveys, engagement sessions, and focus groups. A 50-member Strategic Planning Committee, made up of Shorewood parents, students, staff, and community members, helped create and shape the priorities and direction of this work. Together, this team crafted a plan and student profile that honors Shorewood’s tradition of excellence while preparing our students for the future they choose. 

Our Strategic Plan is centered around our Promise Statement:

The Shorewood School District is an inclusive community that values, supports, and challenges every student so they thrive now and in the future they choose. 

To fulfill this promise, the plan outlines four priority areas that will guide our work beginning in the 2025-26 school year:

• Operational Excellence

This plan is a living guide that will help us set goals, track progress, and ensure every student has the opportunity to succeed. We are grateful to all who contributed their time, ideas, and voice to this effort. Because of your input, this plan is truly reflective of Shorewood’s values and aspirations.
