8th Grade Shadow Day

Shadow Day, on November 17, 2026, is an opportunity for 8th grade resident students attending a private, parochial, or other public school, and those being homeschooled to visit Shorewood High School, and experience what makes it one of the state's best! 

During the event, students can:

  • Attend classes alongside current students
  • Tour our campus and buildings
  • Learn about academics, extracurricular opportunities and clubs
  • Meet with teachers, counselors and student leaders.

An SHS Course Expo for enrolled students and their families will be held later in the school year. The Course Expo provides  opportunities to talk with faculty about courses, review graduation requirements and the daily bell schedule, and plan extracurricular activities.
