New District Volunteer Procedure

All District schools will be using the Raptor system this year to screen and manage volunteers, in addition to screening building visitors. Raptor screening will eliminate the need for parents and others to submit a separate volunteer application to the District.

If you are volunteering in your child's school, you will scan your license or state ID in the school office and receive a visitor badge, just as you did last year. If you are chaperoning an event outside of school hours (or offsite), the organizer of the event will ask you to contact the school's office in advance of the event to have your information checked through the Raptor system.
