Welcome To Shorewood High School! Our graduates are confident, well-rounded, independent young adults who have learned to appreciate the diversity of our society and to be free-thinkers. To prepare our students for adulthood, we provide: a challenging, standards based curriculum in the core academic areas of language arts, math, science and social studies. The school offers nine advanced placement classes. Our Student Support Services Department that provides transition services including career exploration and post secondary planning for students and families, as well as, guidance on academic and personal matters. Additionally, Students have opportunities to participate in award winning performing and visual arts program that includes drama, orchestra, band, choir and studio art; additionally, they can expand on their personal interests by joining any of our more than 40 co-curricular activities.

Congratulations are in order for eight Shorewood Intermediate School students who took 1st and 2nd places in the 2017-18 World of 7 Billion International Video Contest, which required them to create a video that demonstrates how population growth impacts the advancement of women and girls and also required the groups to submit a solution to the problem.
SHS junior Meghan DeRoche has been named a 2018 National YoungArts Foundation (YoungArts) Merit winner in Theater. Selected from the most competitive pool of applicants to date, DeRoche has been recognized for her outstanding artistic achievements and joins 757 of the nation's most promising young artists from 47 states across the literary, visual, design and performing arts. Join the Shorewood Community Fitness Center as they celebrate 20 years of operation on April 17, 6-8 p.m. at The Atrium in Shorewood. There will be a presentation at 6:30 p.m. and refreshments to follow. Learn more by clicking the above title.
