The VHE pool or the Community Open Swim is now open!
After closing on March 1, we have worked on repairs and regrouting of surfaces. Additionally, the pool now boasts a brand-new filtration system, upgraded pumps and chemical controllers, and updated plumbing for new boilers. We extend our gratitude to our community for their patience during these necessary renovations. We understand the vital role this facility plays for Shorewood residents, and these modernized systems will enhance operational efficiency for our staff while ensuring a more reliable and comfortable experience for swimmers.

POLICIES
The Shorewood Recreation Department uses electronic tracking of swim members in an effort to speed up the check-in process. Fitness Center Members must bring their key tags to the pool to swim. IF their membership to the Fitness Center is valid, the computer will recognize them as eligible to swim automatically, therefore, we no longer need pool passes. If someone is in an insurance re-imbursement, their Fitness Center membership will allow them access to the pool. For non-Fitness Center swimmers, we will be loading a key card with 20 visit or single use passes that can be reused.

Youth 5 and under - swim free
Shorewood Community Fitness Center Members - open swim is included in your membership!
20 Visits Community Swim
Key cards allow for 20 visits for community swim and each carries an expiration date of one year.

No payment will be accepted by the lifeguard at any community swims. You must purchase passes at the Recreation Office or Fitness Center before you come to swim. Shorewood Community Fitness Center members swim free when they show their valid membership card to the lifeguard.
