SIS seventh graders studying the Syrian Civil War and the Syrian Refugee Crisis were given the unique opportunity (along with the eighth graders) to experience a refugee simulation, which provided them with a powerful glimpse into what many refugees endure when fleeing from their homes and living in a refugee camp.
