SIS 6th Grade Orientation April 26, 6-7pm

Current 6th grade students and their families are invited to attend the IN-PERSON SIS 6th Grade Orientation Night at SIS on Wednesday, April 26 from 6:00-7:00 p.m. The presentation will be recorded and available on the SIS website for those who are unable to attend in person.

Parents and students will meet in the Commons on the ground floor of SIS for an introduction from Interim Principal, Sam Nadolsky, Dean of Students, Alexis McDowell, and School Counselor, Julie Wells. Visitors will be invited to tour the building and stop in classrooms to see what student-learning looks like at SIS. Most classrooms will have teachers and current students to demonstrate projects from this year and answer questions. Parking is limited, so plan to walk or arrive early to find street parking.

Please note, an optional student “Meet and Greet” will be held in August, to kick off the 2023-24 school year. Students will be able to meet their teachers, tour the building, and practice using lockers.

Time: 6:00-7:00 p.m.
Attending: All current 6th graders going into 7th grade for the 2023-2024 school year and their families
