Child Supervision

This summer our Home Base and Kids Club programs are combined into one full day of summer fun! Although we would like to have our normal Home Base and Kids Club programs, with the uncertainty of COVID-19, we feel it is best practice to limit registration and keep children in consistent groups.

Summer Days:  7:30 am - 5:30 pm
Grades entering 4K - 6 (Students must be at least 4 years old by June 1, 2021 to participate.)

Location:    Atwater Cafetorium & Playground
(Meet in the cafetorium from the north side of the building.)
Date:           Monday - Friday, June 14 - August 6 (No program July 5)
Time:           7:30 am - 5:30 pm
Weekly Fee: Resident - $150 / Non-Resident - $225

Take a break from the screen time and come play at Summer Days! This program offers a variety of playground games, arts & crafts, exploring nature, swimming at the Shorewood High School pool, going to the beach and much more. Please send your child with a snack, water bottle, lunch, and swimsuit everyday. Parents are encouraged to enroll their child in other morning recreation programs that we offer. Our staff will walk your child to and from the programs between 8:00 am and 12:00 pm. Parents/Guardians are required to fill out a Weekly Morning Activity Schedule (see above for form) that informs our staff of the programs that your child is participating in for the week.  Forms may be turned in to the Recreation Office or directly to our Summer Days staff.
A few notes:
- Participants must be dropped off no later than 9 am.
- Handheld electronic devices are not permitted, cell phones are only for emergencies.
- Participants are responsible for all items they bring to the program
- There will be two pick-up times, 12:00 - 12:30 pm or 4:00 - 5:30 pm. Keep in mind, the fee reflects an all day, weekly registration regardless of when you pick up your child from the program.

Important!! Does your Child need Special Accommodations?

If your child requires any special assistance, accommodations or has any special needs that we should be aware of, please let the Recreation Department know when registering. We want to provide your child with a fun, successful and safe summer in our programs.
If your child has an IEP or 504 Plan through the Shorewood School District, please contact the Shorewood Recreation Department at (414) 963-6913 x 4 before the start of the program to coordinate services as required by State and Federal laws.
