Join other Shorewood community members outdoors and help clean up the yards of senior citizens, during the annual Shorewood Connects Spring Yard Clean Up. Volunteers are needed from 9 a.m.-12 p.m. on Saturday, May 4. Tasks will include raking, weeding, planting and other yard duties as needed. Volunteers will receive free breakfast (donuts/bagels), a free T-shirt, and a voucher for a free frozen custard at Culver's. Volunteers are to meet at Kingo Lutheran Church (1225 E. Olive St.) prior to the start of the clean up event.
