On Sunday, October 22, 16 SHS and six SIS students represented the Shorewood School District at the Marquette University High School Math Meet. This regional meet hosts over 300 students from approximately 40 Milwaukee-area schools, and there are both individual and team contests.
Students in pre-algebra and algebra compete at the Gamma level and students taking geometry and above compete at the Beta level. Medals are awarded to the top 10% of individuals and teams, and ribbons are given to next top 10% of individuals and teams.
