Dear Shorewood Families,
I hope you have had some opportunities this summer to rest and spend time with family. Our school district has been working diligently, since the last day of school, on plans to reopen for next school year. During that time, we have tried to keep our conversations focused on two pillars:
- Health and safety of our school community
- High quality instruction
As we continue planning, another important piece of information we need is what your feelings are around our schools re-opening at the beginning of the school year. To that end, we are asking for your participation in this brief survey around school opening options. Please take time to discuss as a family what your responses to the questions in this survey will be. The results will be incorporated with a staff survey, and recommendations from the DPI and North Shore Health Department to make a final decision on how Shorewood schools will open in the fall.
