Dear Shorewood Families,
I am writing to introduce myself to you as your Shorewood Schools Interim Superintendent for the 2021-22 school year. Today is my first day and it is simply wonderful to be here. I look forward to a great school year and to working with you to make it so.
Having started my educational career as a drama and English teacher at Shorewood High School, I want to tell you how proud I am to serve in a district and community I deeply respect. Simply said, this is a community that clearly supports children and their learning. I continue to be amazed by the energetic colleagues who surround me and the staff's commitment to our mission of equity, growth and excellence for all. This is a very special place!
Thanks to all of you who have welcomed me so warmly. I look forward to meeting many more of you as the school year begins.
