School Board Candidate Information Session

The District is providing an upcoming School Board Candidate Information Session on Monday, December 6, at 5:00 p.m. in the Shorewood Public Library, Lower Level. The purpose of this event is to share information for those interested in potentially running for a Board position. The Village will also be hosting a Candidate Information Session concurrently.

The meeting will consist of an overview of the School Board’s roles/responsibilities, the candidacy filing process and finance/paperwork requirements. Some School Board members will also be present to provide a reflection on their experiences and to answer questions.

The Shorewood School District will have two (2) seats open for Board of Education members on the April 5, 2022 ballot. A primary election will be held on February 15, 2022, if more than two candidates file candidacy paperwork per seat. The following offices are to be elected to succeed the present incumbents listed.
