Dear Lake Bluff Families,
Below is the schedule for the final candidate interviews for the position of Lake Bluff Principal and information about how you can participate in this stage of the recruitment process.
The First Round Interview Team - Lake Bluff faculty, staff and parents, our school principals and District administrators - endorsed four candidates following interviews on June 14 and 15. These finalists will begin their final interviews with a student-led tour of Lake Bluff; the remainder of their interviews will be held in the High School Library Media Center, where each candidate will make a brief presentation about their experience, leadership style and teaching and learning philosophy, and participate in a 45-minute panel interview. They will complete a writing assignment following the interview.
Lake Bluff parents/caregivers and Lake Bluff staff members may attend the presentation and interview portions of the schedule to observe (these interviews will not be streamed to ensure confidentiality for our candidates). If attending, we encourage you to RSVP in advance here, so that we can better accommodate all participants. A feedback form link will be provided to those in attendance who would like to offer comments about the candidates.

Candidate One: Presentation and Interview from 12:45 to 2:00 pm
Candidate Two: Presentation and Interview from 3:00 to 4:15 pm

Candidate Three: Presentation and Interview from 12:45 to 2:00 pm
Candidate Four: Presentation and Interview from 3:00 to 4:15 pm
All of our finalists have outstanding leadership experience, a strong commitment to student-focused learning and staff collaboration, and exciting ideas about ways to build new connections and build on our beloved traditions. We look forward to exploring their work and their vision of Lake Bluff further during the final interview schedule, and I hope you can attend these sessions to listen and learn.
