2023 School Perceptions Surveys
Each year, we survey Shorewood School District students in grades 4-12, staff, families/caregivers, and all Shorewood residents to obtain feedback about our schools.  School Perceptions survey input is an important tool in evaluating our work, measuring progress toward specific program and department goals, as well as assessing the student learning environment in our schools. We kindly ask that everyone participate in the survey so that we can have the most accurate and complete representation of student, staff, family/caregiver, and resident voices!

With standardized testing and other activities in mind, the School Perceptions Student Survey window has been scheduled for April 25-May 5. Each school will make arrangements for students in grades 4-12 to participate in the survey based on their building's schedule, and teachers will discuss the survey with students in advance. No identifying information other than your student's email address is provided to School Perceptions and the online survey takes approximately 15 minutes to complete.  The Student Survey questions as well as results from last year's surveys can be viewed on the District website under the Parents/Students section. If you elect to not have your student(s) participate in the School Perceptions survey, please download, complete and return this Survey Opt Out form to the Superintendent's Office by Friday, April 14. If no form is received, your child will be asked to participate in the survey.

Families/caregivers as well as Shorewood residents also receive surveys, and we hope you will provide feedback about our District and schools. Survey links will be sent by email to Shorewood School District families during the week of April 10, and all Shorewood residents will receive a postcard at home.  The School Perceptions Families/Caregivers and Residents Survey window will be from April 10 - April 24.

Your input is needed, and we encourage you to participate in this year's surveys.

School principals will be following up with more details and reminders about student testing and survey schedules in early April.
