Shorewood High School Hires New Football Head Coach

Keith RobertsThe Shorewood High School and Messmer Athletic Departments are proud to announce the appointment of the new football coach for the 2024-25 season. Keith Roberts has accepted the position and will be our co-op team’s head football coach.Keith is currently a physical education teacher for Shorewood School District. Coach Roberts spent the last two seasons as offensive coordinator for the Messwood Greyhounds Football program and first as head coach. He is a 2006 Lincoln College Preparatory Academy HS graduate located in Kansas City, Missouri. Coach Roberts played both football and baseball at Missouri Valley College, earning his Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education in 2012, along with a Master’s Degree in Sport Management from Cardinal Stritch University in 2016.  

 

In the last 12 years, Keith has experience as a teacher, coach, and athletic director. Most notably, he was part of a Milwaukee Marshall High School program from 2016-2019, where they achieved a city conference title as well as a first-round playoff victory. Relocating to Chalmette, Louisiana, the following year, he coached football at Chalmette High School, where they won a District 8-5A championship, along with another first-round playoff win. We welcome our new head coach and anticipate great performances from our student-athletes next year. Go Messwood!
