SHS Senior Max Pink Wins Statewide Competition for High School Musical Theatre

For the second year in a row, Shorewood High School Senior Max Pink has won the Wisconsin statewide competition for high school musical theatre. Max earned the right to compete at the Overture Center in Madison this year after he won Outstanding Lead as Archibald Craven in last May's production of The Secret Garden. Max will fly to New York City on June 17, 2018 to compete in the National High School Musical Theatre Awards. 
 
The National High School Musical Theatre Awards™ (also known as the Jimmy Awards) are a national celebration of outstanding student achievement, recognizing individual artistry in vocal, dance, and acting performance and elevating the importance of theatre arts education in schools. The Jimmy Awards are presented by The Broadway League Foundation.
 
Max will spend a week working with Broadway professionals and will perform and compete once again at the Minskoff Theatre on Broadway on Monday, June 25, 2018.
