Lake Bluff "Significantly Exceeds Expectations"

This week, the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction (DPI) released District and School Report Cards. The Shorewood School District rating is “Significantly Exceeds Expectations,” which is an improvement from the 2016-17 school year and our highest ranking since district report cards were established.

The District scored higher than the State averages in the areas of “Student Achievement,” “Growth,” “Closing Gaps,” and “On-Track and Postsecondary Readiness.” Shorewood continues to be a high achieving district, dedicated to ensuring success for all of our students.

Lake Bluff also received an individual rating of “Significantly Exceeds Expectations.” We continued to show significant student achievement. We also made great gains in our overall school growth, moving from 73.3 to 77.4. We will continue to work on English Language Arts (ELA) instruction, which ties perfectly to our building and District Academic Mastery work this year.
