The Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction (DPI) released District and School Report Cards today. The Shorewood School District rating is “Significantly Exceeds Expectations,” an improvement from the 2016-17 school year and our highest ranking since district report cards were established.
Atwater also scored a “Significantly Exceeds Expectations” rating. Atwater had a very large increase in School Growth (67.0-83.1) from last year’s report card. Growth is determined by comparing previous year’s scores to current year to determine the pace at which students are acquiring skills/knowledge. We will continue our work on English Language Arts (ELA) instruction. This correlates with our building goals and District Academic Mastery Work that are already a focus for this academic year.
School/District | 2016-17 | 2017-18 | Overall Accountability Rating |
Atwater | 83.9 | 86.3 | Significantly Exceeds Expectations |
