SHS Cross Country Coach Dominic Newman Inducted into WCCCA Hall of Fame

Congratulations to Shorewood High School Boys Cross Country Coach Dominic Newman who was inducted into Wisconsin Cross Country Coaches Association Hall of Fame on Friday, January 11.

Newman is the first Shorewood coach to be inducted since the Association established its Hall of Fame in 1992, and he is the youngest active coach to ever be inducted.

- WIAA Division 2 Boys Cross Country Team State Champions: 2004, 2005, 2006, 2009, 2010, 2012
-WIAA Division 2 Boys Cross Country Team State Runners-up: 2007, 2014 (3rd place team in 2013)
-Coached Boys Division 2 Individual State Champion Kevin McCollow (2007), as well as 7 other state medal winners
-Boys Team Sectional Champions: 2004, 2005, 2006, 2009, 2010, 2012
-Boys Team Sectional Runners-up: 2007, 2008, 2011, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2018
-Boys Team Conference Champions: 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009 (Parkland), 2011, 2012, 2013 (Woodland)
-Coached Individual Conference Champions: 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2010, 2011
-Assistant coach for WIAA Division 2 State Championship teams in 2000 and 2003
