Guest Wireless Terms of Use

You are about to access the Internet through wireless (wifi) Internet access operated by the Shorewood School District.  The purpose of the Service is to provide free guest wireless Internet access to visitors of the Shorewood School District. You may use the district’s wifi only if you agree to the following terms of service each time you access the Guest Network.

The Service is a free public service provided by the Shorewood School District. By using our wifi, you hereby acknowledge and agree that there are significant security, privacy and confidentiality risks inherent in accessing or transmitting information through a public internet connection.

Security issues include, without limitation, interception of transmissions, loss of data, and the introduction or viruses and other programs that can corrupt or damage your computer. This is an open wireless network and no network communication is 100% secure. You agree and understand that the owner and/or provider of this network is NOT liable for any interception or transmissions, computer worms or viruses, loss of data, file corruption, hacking or damage to your computer or other devices that result from the transmission or download of information or materials through the internet service provided. Also note, All communication over the Shorewood School District network is subject to monitoring 

Your access to the Service is completely at the discretion of the Shorewood School District, and your access to the Service may be blocked, suspended, or terminated at any time for any reason including, but not limited to, violation of this Agreement, actions that may lead to liability for the Shorewood School District, disruption of access to other users or networks, or violation of applicable laws or regulations. 

The Shorewood School District may revise the Terms of Use at any time. You must accept this Agreement each time you use the Service and it is your responsibility to review it for any changes each time.
