Shre received her bachelor and master degrees from University ofMichigan . . . taught advanced algebra, solid geometry and trigonometry and probably had all of the people listed above as students . . . stressed logical thinking, conceptual understanding and challenging problem solving . . . taught evening classes at UWM and Marquette, authored several textbooks and professional articles and invented the Perspectograph, a template that facilitated the drawing of three-dimensional shapes . . . active member of Milwaukee Beautification Committee and the National Conference of Christian and Jews . . .named Outstanding Mathematics Teacher of the Year in 1959 by the Wisconsin Society of Engineers. . .SHS class reunion tour leaders report that Miss Joseph is mentioned more frequently than any other teacher due to her positive and sometimes daunting influence.
