Tom and Sue Rebholz

Tom and Sue Rebholz have been forces for extraordinary service in the Shorewood community for over 40 years. They grew up in Shorewood and graduated from SHS in 1958. After graduating from SHS, they attended the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee together and were among the prom royalty in 1961. They graduated from UWM in 1963, married that same year, and settled in Shorewood.

Their three children all attended Shorewood schools (Atwater, Shorewood Intermediate School, and SHS). Tom Rebholz served the Shorewood Schools for nearly his entire education career as teacher, coach, and athletic director. Sue Rebholz was a volunteer in Shorewood's elementary classrooms for decades, teaching Choral Reading to an entire generation of Shorewood children, and has also volunteered with numerous Shorewood community organizations, including the Shorewood Historical Society.

Tom and Sue have attended church in Shorewood at Lutheran Memorial Chapel. They volunteered their time to support many village and school activities, and co-founded and chaired the Shorewood Arts & Crafts Fair fundraiser, running the event for 16 consecutive years. This annual event is still going strong and continues to be a major fundraising event in the community. They have been involved with organizing Shorewood class reunions for the Class of '58 and have led tours of SHS and the village. Tom and Sue have also served as Grand Marshals at Shorewood 4th of July parades. Together, they have dedicated their time and effort to help make Shorewood a better community.
