Welcome to Shorewood High School!
Our graduates are confident, well-rounded, independent young adults who have learned to appreciate the diversity of our society and to be free-thinkers. To prepare our students for adulthood, we provide: a challenging, standards based curriculum in the core academic areas of language arts, math, science and social studies. On this site, students and families can find information about course offering and graduation requirements. The school offers twelve advanced placement classes. Our Student Support Services Department provides transition services including career exploration and post secondary planning for students and families, as well as, guidance on academic and personal matters. Additionally, students have opportunities to participate in award winning performing and visual arts program that includes drama, orchestra, band, choir and studio art. Students can expand on their personal interests by joining any of our more than 40 co-curricular activities. Also, all of our schools in the District offer a Multilingual Learner (ML) program for students in need of ML services, as well as staff specialists in Special Education, so that all of our students can succeed.
